  1. Log in to the cPanel at https://manage.softlayer.com

  2. Scroll down to the SoftLayer Name Servers Section.
  3. Select your domain name and click on the edit button.

Create a SPF record

  1. Scroll down to the SPF (Sender Policy Framework) area and enter your SPF record:
  2. Name: Enter the Host Record you would like to use ("@" for example.com, "mail" for mail.example.com, etc).
  3. Value: Enter your SPF record (e.g. "v=spf1 a mx ~all").
  4. TTL: Leave the default value: 86400
  5. Click the Update Zone Record button to create the record.
